Drachen CrossFit is so very excited to offer “Drachen CrossFit Kids”; our CrossFit Kids program! At Drachen, we believe that all children can benefit from an exciting, constantly changing class that will keep them engaged and having fun while instilling in them the fundamentals of sport and a life-long love of movement and a healthy lifestyle.
CrossFit kids is an amazing way to start your children on a path to a fuller and more productive athletic life. CrossFit is a combination of gymnastics, cardio/endurance, and weightlifting. I wish I would have found it sooner in life which is what made me decided that I wanted to coach CrossFit Kids to give kids the option of setting themselves on an amazing life path.
We will be running three major groups for classes (in order to offer a class, we require at least 3 children in that age group signed up):
Preschool (ages 3-5) – 20 minute sessions
Kids (ages 5-12) – 45 minute sessions (30 minute workout session and 15 minute homework session)
Teens (ages 12-18) – Broken out as a 50 minute class like the adult CrossFit class and a 1 hour weightlifting session (by invitation only based on their movement mechanics and desire).
$75 for monthly members
$85 for non-monthly members
